Established in 1958 by Messrs Mike Munnik and Dirk Visser, Munnik Visser Architects is a multiple award-winning Architecture firm based in Cape Town, South Africa. We have over 60 years of experience designing and delivering high quality projects of every scale, from individual homes to large scale residential & commercial developments, hospitals, and sporting facilities.  

 We are committed to delivering a bespoke architecture that is anchored in a considered response to place and brief. This is achieved through a collaborative process that synthesizes our client’s needs with studied awareness of the environmental, programmatic, socio-economic & functional informants unique to each project and a technical expertise developed over many years in the industry. We provide a full, professional, architectural service from project inception through to construction contract administration and project close out. This process includes helping the client define your needs and wishes in a brief, producing concept sketch designs and developing these designs into a fully fledged design. We assist with co-ordination of the development design with other consultants and produce technical drawings for local authority approval and construction. We administer building contracts, liaising between contractors and clients to ensure that the building is completed to the clients specifications. In addition to these services we have experience in masterplanning, precinct & campus planning, development of Architectural design guidelines and Architectural competition design.
