Imhoff’s Gift Farm

We were appointed to prepare a long-term Masterplan for the future development of land around the Historically significant farmstead at Imhoff’s Gift, a popular attraction for tourists and locals.

The masterplan is set up as a response to a heritage impact assessment which restricts development on certain areas of the site to highlight the visual importance of the existing approach to the farm and the remaining historical built forms. The programme includes the redevelopment and extension of existing small-scale retail and hospitality linked by a market avenue, a new equestrian facility, new office and artisanal workshop spaces and a future conference venue. Subsequently we were appointed to design the first phase of the masterplan, which included an office building, equestrian centre, visitor ablution facilities and an iconic entrance ‘lighthouse’ tower for the farm’s resident goats.
