Stellenbosch House

Stellenbosch, Cape Town

A house for a tight-knit family on a secure residential estate in the Stellenbosch winelands. The estate had strict aesthetic guidelines which informed the language of the house, which is located on a sloped site with mountain views to the north and east.

Focus was given to common and entertainment areas to maximise the time the family spend in each other’s company and it was important that the design had an easy, relaxed flow between inside and outside space with plenty of natural light throughout.
