The Majestic

Kalk Bay, Cape Town

This project included the restoration and conversion of 2 derelict historical hotels (The Majestic and The New Kings) and ancillary buildings overlooking the picturesque Kalk Bay Harbour as well as several new, sensitively designed and positioned residential buildings, each with their own, unique language and characteristics. The buildings have been developed to form ‘a village within a village’ in Kalk Bay on the false bay coast south of Cape Town.

The development has been carefully considered throughout to uplift the area and fit seamlessly into the existing urban context while overlooking the picturesque fishing harbour and bay.
